Switchgrass
In 2007, Carolina-Pacific launched the Carolina-Pacific Biofuel Producers Association LLC to organize and assist regional farmers growing Switchgrass for combustion. The "Carolina-Pacific BPA" is offering long-term offtake contracts to South Carolina farmers on as little as 10 acre parcels and on as many as 1,000 acres. The Company will plant a minimum of 1,000 acres. At the moment, the number of acres committed is:
